Spinal Cord Stimulator Evaluation

Spinal cord stimulator is a device that is placed into the spine and more specifically into the epidural space. It has electrodes at the tip to generate an impulse that creates a signal of vibration or tingling in the back and down the legs that over lies the pain signals that are generated at the level of the spine.

Candidates for this procedure may include people who have had multiple back surgery or neuropathy

These procedures are all done under x-ray guidance and sedation in the procedure suite or in a hospital outpatient setting
